The Pearl schedule this week is as follows:
Saturday July 9th
vs. Pro Player Baseball, 1 PM Willie Stargell Field. Pro Player Baseball is a team from the Sacramento area. Their roster includes 3 players who were selected in the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft. Full snack bar and BBQ will be set up and Pearl T-shirts will be available for sale.
Monday July 11th
vs. Southern Oregon Riverdogs, Double Header, First Game begins at 12pm at Willie Stargell Field. The Pearl open up a three game series against a Far West League opponent. Game 2 of the scheduled Double Header will begin roughly 30-45 minutes after the completion of Game 1 www.ballcharts.com/riverdawgs
Tuesday July 12th
vs. Southern Oregon Riverdogs, 4PM Willie Stargell Field
Friday July 15th
vs. Alaska Goldpanners, Double Header, 2PM Willie Stargell Field. We are very lucky to have the Alaska Goldpanners on our schedule coming to Alameda to play us this summer. They are one of the most historic college summer baseball teams in the USA. Alumni of the Goldpanners program include: Hall of Famer, Tom Seaver (1964), Oakland A's Legend, Dave Kingman (1969), Hall of Famer, Dave Winfield (1972), Major League Baseball All-Time Home Run Leader, Barry Bonds (1983), 2000 American League MVP, Jason Giambi (1990), Texas Rangers All-Star, Michael Young (1996), 2004 American League Rookie of The Year, Bobby Crosby (1999). Saturday July 16th
vs Menlo Park Legends, Double Header, First Game begins at 1PM Willie Stargell Field. Game 2 of the Double Header will begin roughly 30-45 minutes after the completion of Game 1. Full snack bar and BBQ will be set up all day and Pearl Merchandise will be available for sale.
Sunday July 17th
vs. Solano County Blue Birds, 1PM Willie Stargell Field. Snack Bar and Pearl Merchandise will be available for sale.
