Fall Ball – Local Teams

Local Teams are for those who want to continue developing their baseball skills with more advanced coaching approach and resources, while balancing other seasonal commitments. Local includes one weekly practice and one weekly batting-cage session at the Neptune Beach Pearl Batting Cages.

The season typically runs 10-12 weeks and includes off weekends and weekend games against other local Pearl teams. During games, coaches provide instruction and feedback to all players, allowing athletes to learn and develop in a non win at all costs environment.  Allowing the full lineup of experienced coaches in a supportive, development-focused environment.

Fall Ball – Travel Teams

Travel ball requires a try out and selection with higher level of commitment, both in time and financial investment for familes.

Travel teams typically practice twice weekly in Alameda, along with a weekly batting-cage session. Over the 12-week Fall season, teams compete in multiple tournaments at Greater Bay Area locations such as Fremont, Martinez, Manteca, Modesto, Turlock, and Sunnyvale, with scheduled weekends off built in for family time and recovery.

Roster spots are limited by age division, and players must participate in tryouts to earn placement on a travel team.
