THE COOLEST MASCOT IN BASEBALL?
Standing 6-foot-2 in his Size 28 footwear, Gem is certainly one of the most unique mascots in all of baseball, with a baseball face sewn into a mitt serving as his head. Gem wears No. 11 in honor of the founding year (2011) of Neptune Beach baseball. His name is a double-entendre of sorts: A natural pearl is the rarest of gems; and a stellar pitching performance is known as a "gem."
